Native Wildflower Postcard: Great White Trillium
In the 19th century, amateur naturalists preserved their botanical specimens in herbarium collections. Pressed flat and carefully labeled, they served as aids in identifying different species and cultivars. This card features Great White Trillium, a wildflower native to the Midwestern US and which can be found blooming in woodlands in early spring.
Cards measure 4" x 6" and can be sent via the US postal service with a standard postcard stamp.
