Mushroom Postcard: Russula sanguinea
The vibrant artwork of turn of the century German painter Emil Doerstling captures a cluster of Russula sanguinea, also known as the Bloody Brittlegill. Originally created for a guidebook of common mushrooms, these illustrations capture their subjects and habitat with lifelike detail.
Cards measure 4" x 6" and can be sent via the US postal service with a standard postcard stamp.
