PRIVACY POLICY: IN BRIEF

Below you will find the technical specifications of the information we collect, how we use it, and your options for changing any of that should you disagree.  In layman's terms, here's what we do:

  • We collect the information you choose to give us, like your email address or information in any forms you submit through our site.  This information is stored securely by Wix, our site host.

  • We use third-parties like Google and Moosend to collect information on your actions on our site and related pages (like our Etsy and social media pages).  Some of this information is presented in generalities for our reference, but any trackers that might be used to specifically reach out to you (such as retargeting using ads on other sites) can be turned off at any time by revoking permission for the optional cookies we use on our website.

  • We do not sell or share any information you give us with any companies or individuals outside our company, but we do use third party systems to run our business.  Those third parties do not have permission to access or use your information in any way; they merely provide tools for us to safely store and access your information for purposes like email marketing and website management.

Information Collected:

We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we may collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet, site login, e-mail address, site password, basic device and connection information, and purchase history. We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including (but not limited to) page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We may also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, site password, communications); payment details (including credit card information), comments, feedback, product reviews, recommendations, and personal profile data you provide.

Methods of Collection:

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect personal information you give us, such as your name, address and email address.

 

We also use third party systems (commonly known as "cookies") to provide information about you and how you use our site.  Some of these provide necessary information about the functionality of our site and do not collect information about you specifically.  Other cookies may collect data on how you use our site as well as other actions you take on the internet, which helps us provide a tailored experience.  These cookies are optional and can be turned off in our cookie settings menu.

Data Storage and Use:

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.  

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Additional third-party sites are also used to manage aspects of our business including (but not limited to) shipping, email marketing, and advertising.  We may store personal information on these sites to allow us to integrate their services.  Each third-party site is separately managed and subject to their own security procedures, but each has been carefully vetted to ensure those procedures are comprehensive.

Your data is used in aggregate to provide information about our site and how it's used.  It is also used individually to provide a tailored experience with our brand based on your preferences and actions.
