Native Wildflower Postcard: Eastern Red Columbine

In the 19th century, amateur naturalists preserved their botanical specimens in herbarium collections.  Pressed flat and carefully labeled, they served as aids in identifying different species and cultivars.  This card features Eastern Red Columbine, a wildflower native to the Midwestern US and frequently found in lightly shaded woodland.
 
Cards measure 4" x 6" and can be sent via the US postal service with a standard postcard stamp.
